A story of kindness, sacrifice, and a rabbit who lives on the moon.

Piece together the legend behind a beloved character found in East and Southeast Asian folktales and Mid-Autumn Festival traditions. The Legend of the Moon Rabbit brings this touching story to life through an illustrated puzzle and companion storybook designed for family bonding, cultural discovery, and hands-on fun.

This timeless tale has Buddhist origins and is traditionally understood as a story of compassion and selflessness. It does touch on the theme of sacrifice, which families may choose to frame as a lesson in kindness, generosity, and how different cultures honor meaningful stories.

📚 Why We Created This Collection

The idea for Little Legends Story Puzzles came to me during a quiet bedtime moment. I was watching Bo and Mei puzzle together—calm and focused—and I couldn’t help but wish the image they were piecing together told a story they could truly connect with. That simple wish sparked Little Legends.

As a mom and puzzle lover, I realized jigsaw puzzles could do so much more. Beyond supporting focus and problem-solving, they could spark curiosity about the diverse stories of our world.

So we created Little Legends Story Puzzles to bring timeless cultural tales to life through the combined power of storytelling and play. Each puzzle is designed to nurture pride, foster understanding, and give families a meaningful way to connect beyond screens.

💛 Made for Families

Little Legends Story Puzzles are designed for children ages 3 and up—but the magic is in doing them together.

Whether you're cuddled up for storytime, puzzling after dinner, or sharing your own memories and traditions, these puzzles spark the kinds of moments that matter most. We hope they’ll become a treasured part of your family’s storytelling traditions for years to come.
