*A note about green hats in Chinese culture:
We’re aware of the traditional Chinese taboo around wearing green hats, and we gave it a lot of thought when creating this collection. As parents, we’re constantly considering which traditions and customs we want to pass on to the next generation—and which we might let go of, reinterpret, or make our own when they no longer feel meaningful in today’s context. For this collaboration, we chose to embrace green as an unmistakable part of the Green Dragon mahjong tile that inspired the design, while respecting that every family may make these choices differently.
