Strengthening cultural connection and appreciation

I grew up feeling ashamed of my Asian identity. Now as a mother, I want the opposite experience for my two daughters. But after decades hiding from my culture, I sometimes don't feel Asian "enough" to help my kids connect to their heritage.

Naming this endeavor after my girls, I decided to start Bo & Mei to make it easier for people to connect to culture and foster a world where everyone feels they belong.
